ICS-300 provides an in-depth focus on the NIMS Incident Command System (ICS) that includes the tools, practices, and procedures that are available in ICS to effectively manage emergency incidents or planned local events at a local Type 3 level. Although all phases of ICS-300 will be covered, there will be an emphasis on animal-related incidents. We will be setting up a mock Emergency Operating Center/Department Operating Center. During the class, you will be given templates and will build an Incident Action Plan (IAP) for an "animal" incident The instructors have extensive experience within the Incident Command System, including animal-specific applications.
