All-Hazards & Basic Wildland Fire & Safety Awareness (Parts 1&2) (VIRTUAL)

Session 1 of the course (2 hours) will cover wildland fire safety aspects including entrapment avoidance, fire behavior, general wildland safety, current issues/concerns and risk management.

Session 2 of the course (1 hour) covers vital topics such as hazard recognition, hazard assessment and tools for recognizing hazards in disaster situations such as wildland fires, floods/landslide, earthquakes and others. We will discuss in depth power line safety, propane/natural gas safety and other hazards you may encounter in disaster situations.
