This 2-day hands-on course provides the knowledge and skills to prepare to respond to an animal technical rescue in a safe and effective manner while sharing jurisdictional and functional responsibility with an authority having jurisdiction.
This course meets and exceeds NFPA 1670 Chapter 9 and Annex J standards and covers the most likely animal species that first responders are called to rescue and manage: cattle (beef and dairy), horses, including working horses, (police mounts, SAR), companion animals and working dogs (SAR, K-9). ATR- Technician- 20 students max. Register early.
All students will receive a ResQFAST certificate upon completion.
AWARENESS Level class will be sent prior to course, self-study video.
