PART 1: 6:30-7:30 - Learn ways to be better prepared to keep your pets, equines and backyard animals safer during and after disasters. Topics will include: Making your Animal Disaster Action Plan; Evacuation and Shelter-in-Place -- planning, supplies, property prep; How to request help for your animals inside an evacuation zone.

PART II: 7:45-8:45 - Intro to Local Animal Disaster Volunteer Opportunities - This class will introduce you to the resources for animal care in local disasters and the ways volunteers can help train.
